Product details
Lightweight uprights with a metal roller brush take their bristles as removable strips rather than a whole moulded roller. This is the short 4.5-inch brush insert, part B013-0301B, for the Riccar R10CV.6 and the Clean Max ZM800, and it also serves the Riccar SupraLite and Simplicity Freedom lightweights built around the same metal roller.
The insert slides into a channel in the roller, so worn bristles come out and fresh ones go in for a fraction of the cost of a new brush roll. Bristles flatten and splay long before the roller itself is finished, and tangled hair and thread speed that along. Once the row of bristles no longer reaches the pile, carpets look no better after a pass than before it.
Fit the short insert in its own channel and pull any wrapped hair from the roller before it goes back in.
