This replacement brush insert is the long 5 inch bristle strip that slides into the brush roll housing on a wide range of Riccar, Simplicity, and Cleanmax uprights. It restores a fresh row of bristles so the roller can agitate carpet without replacing the entire assembly.

Bristles flatten and wear down with regular use, and a worn insert stops reaching into the pile to lift dirt. Sliding in a fresh insert returns the roller's grip on embedded dirt and pet hair.
