These are the swivel arm retainers that hold the cleaning nozzle to the base of a Bissell ProHeat 2X, supplied left and right together as part 2036802. The set covers the 9200 ProHeat and the rest of the family our fitment data confirms: 1383, 20B4, 66Q4, 8920, 8930, 8960, 9300, 9400 and 9500.
The brackets carry the whole load every time the nozzle is pushed out and pulled back, and they break at the pivot ear. Once one lets go the nozzle sits crooked, a corner lifts clear of the carpet, and the machine leaves a dry stripe down one side of every pass.
They wear at much the same rate, so replacing both at once is the sensible move, which is exactly how the set is supplied.
