Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Two thrust members live inside SEBO's carpet height mechanism, and 2834 is the one that bears against the pile adjustment axle. It takes load in the linkage that raises and lowers the brush between deep pile, low pile and hard floor, so every turn of the height control passes through it. One part number serves the ESSENTIAL G1, G2, G4 and G5 alongside the 300 MECHANICAL and 350 MECHANICAL.
What goes wrong is wear rather than breakage, at least at first. The bearing face flattens, the spring behind it can no longer keep the axle firmly indexed, and the adjustment turns vague: the setting creeps under the weight of the machine, or the axle stops clicking cleanly from one notch to the next. Left long enough the plastic splits outright and the height control ends up doing nothing at all. Because the part is buried in the chassis, it is worth handling alongside the other components on that shaft rather than as a standalone visit.
The knob-side counterpart is stocked as 2833, so read the parts diagram before ordering to be sure which of the two your machine wants — they are not interchangeable. The shaft itself is 2861, the clamp that captures the spring is 2856, the spring is 2867, and the sacrificial face the axle runs against is rubbing plate 2869HG in light gray.
