This replacement switch activator spring (Part #A719-0100) serves Fuller Brush commercial uprights including the FBHD1. The spring returns the switch actuator to position after each press, giving the on/off control its snap and reset.
Springs fatigue and eventually break, and a failed activator spring leaves the switch feeling mushy, sticking down, or failing to reset between presses. That makes reliable on/off control difficult. Installing the correct spring restores a firm, responsive switch action.
