SEBO TS-Neck Socket Cover for FELIX, ET-1, ET-2 and DISCO — Gray Black

Power reaches the brush motor through contacts in the neck, and 2951GS is the gray black cap that closes over them. It keeps carpet fluff and grit off the connection point where the power head joins the machine, in a spot that sits low down and collects everything the floor has to offer.

SEBO places the socket cover at position 120 on both the ET-1/ET-2 power head diagram and the FELIX sheet, next along from the swivel neck slide at 119. A cracked or absent cap tends to announce itself electrically rather than visually: the brush roll cuts in and out as the neck flexes, because nothing is holding the connection square any more. Unplug the machine at the outlet before opening the neck, and check the swivel neck wiring, part 0876ER, for chafing while the contacts are exposed.
