This genuine OEM Rexair-Rainbow hose coupling plug (Part #R7197) fits the PN-2 canister on the E model. The plug is part of the hose coupling that mates the hose to the machine, carrying the connection between the two.
A coupling plug that has cracked, worn, or lost pins makes an unreliable connection, so the hose can lose its seal or the power path can drop out. A loose plug also lets the coupling come apart during use. Fitting the correct plug restores a secure, dependable coupling.
