SEBO Rear Bottom Plate for ...

Product details
Behind the roller, part 2829HG closes the base of the SEBO ESSENTIAL G1 and SEBO ESSENTIAL G4 cleaning head. The light gray plate arrives complete and screws straight onto the chassis.
Wear here starts out cosmetic and finishes functional: a scraped panel goes thin, a fixing tab lets go, and the plate begins lifting at one edge. Air then leaks into the head from underneath, and the suction reaching the nozzle drops off with it. The symptom is a machine that has lost pickup on carpet with no obvious blockage anywhere in the airway, and it is easy to chase through the bag and filters for weeks before turning the head over. Refitting a sound plate closes that path back up.
The front panel on these two machines is a separate number, 5411HG, and both fasten to chassis 2821HG. With the base off, clear the roller ends of hair before anything goes back: 12 inch brush roller 5010AM, or soft-bristle 5010GE, comes out with release 5713GS, and bearing blocks 5031HG and 5766HG are visible at the same time. Check the panel sits flush all the way round once the screws are home, since a plate pinched at one corner leaks just as badly as a cracked one. It is also the moment to look at the filtration, because a head that has been leaking air has usually been asked to work against a tired bag as well: filter bags are 5093AM, and the pre-motor filter is 5036AM, 5812ER in HEPA form or 5425AM in the anti-odor version.
