Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Every notch of carpet height on these uprights is carried by a single shaft. Part 2861 is that shaft: the pile adjustment axle shared by the SEBO ESSENTIAL G1, ESSENTIAL G2, ESSENTIAL G4 and ESSENTIAL G5 and by the 300 MECHANICAL and 350 MECHANICAL, drawn at position 118 on the SEBO 300/350 Mechanical sheet.
Turning the height control rotates this axle, and the axle in turn sets how far the nozzle drops toward the floor. Everything else in the mechanism — the thrust members, the spring, the clamps, the rubbing plate — exists to hold it steady and let it index cleanly. An axle that has been bent, or worn where it passes through its bearing points, tends to bind at one end of its travel, or to leave the nozzle sitting lower on one side than the other so the brush grooms unevenly and one edge of the head wears its strip away first. A machine that will only hold the deepest setting, or that fights the operator halfway through the range, is showing the same fault.
The parts that ride on this axle are inexpensive and are already exposed once the chassis is open, so there is little sense refitting tired ones: clamp 2856 captures the spring, spring 2867 loads the assembly, thrust member 2834 bears on the axle with 2833 serving the knob, rubbing plate 2869HG is the sacrificial face, axle clamp 2849 retains the pile wheel axle, and pile adjustment wheel 5174HG completes the set.
