Product details
The red-bristle brush roll for the Oreck XL21 upright, part OR202. It is the roller that does the carpet work on these machines, and it is a wear part rather than a repair.
Oreck fits it across a long run of models: the U7000ECB, U7000ECP and U7000ECR, the U7030ECBS and U7050ECB, the U7200ECB, U7210ECB and U7210ECR, the U7211 series in black, green, purple and red, the U7212ECB and U7241ECS, and the XL21600ECB, XL21600ECC, XL21700ECC, XL21700ECP and XL21700ECT.
Bristles wear shortest through the middle where the machine tracks, so a roller can look serviceable from the end and still be doing nothing across the width of the carpet. If the vacuum has stopped lifting pile, a fresh belt has not helped, and the bristles no longer stand proud when you sight along the roller, this is the part. Clear hair from the end caps while it is out.
