This genuine Oreck scroll tongue (Part #83057-01) fits the LW100 Magnesium upright. The scroll tongue sits within the nozzle's air scroll and helps direct debris into the airflow path toward the bag.
When the tongue is chipped, worn, or broken, airflow through the scroll becomes turbulent and pickup at the nozzle suffers, leaving debris behind on carpet and hard floors. A correct replacement restores the intended airflow shape and cleaning pickup.
