This replacement motor housing (Part #37193008) fits several upright vacuums across brands, including Hoover S2099, Eureka/Sanitaire SC580A, and Oreck PT357 and PT57B. The housing cradles the motor and shields it from dust and impact.
Once the housing cracks or breaks, debris reaches the motor and grinds away at the bearings and windings, while the exposed motor is vulnerable to knocks. A sound housing restores that protective enclosure and keeps the motor properly seated and sealed.
