Inside a Wessel Werk EBK340 power nozzle, the motor cover is the moulded shell that closes over the nozzle motor and carries the light assembly on its face. Part 10.9011-318 replaces it. Sitting directly above the brush chamber, it takes heat, vibration and the occasional impact, so cracked and warped covers are common on nozzles that have been in service for years.
The tell is rarely dramatic. A buzz or rattle appears that was not there before, or the light sits crooked, or a screw no longer bites because the boss around it has split. Left alone, a loose cover lets the motor move on its mounts and the noise gets worse.
Note that this is the cover, not the motor. If the brush roll has stopped turning altogether, the motor itself is the part to look at. This cover fits the Wessel Werk EBK340.
