This clear plastic belt lifter lens (Part #145265) lets you read the belt lifter position from outside the vacuum housing on Kirby models spanning the 516 through the D80. It covers the Dual Sanitronic 50, Dual Sanitronic 80, and Sanitronic VII.
Over time the lens yellows, cracks, or pops out, and once it is gone you lose the visual confirmation of whether the brush roll is engaged. A clear new lens makes that check easy at a glance. It is a simple part that restores an at-a-glance status window on the machine.
