Maintain proper belt engagement with this genuine OEM Kirby Belt Lifter, which fits the 505, 508, 509, 511, 512, 513, 514, 516, 517, 560, and Sanitronic VII. The belt lifter lets you disengage the brush roll belt for bare-floor cleaning and transport, sparing the belt from unnecessary wear.
When the lifter lever grows stiff, cracks, or no longer engages and releases the belt cleanly, switching between carpet and bare floor becomes difficult and the belt runs when it should not. Restoring the correct lifter brings back that control and protects the belt. It is a core part of how these machines handle mixed flooring.
