Clean water tank seal for the Hoover SmartWash, part 440012814. It fits the FH52002 and the wider family: the FH52000, FH52001, FH52013 and FH52023V, and the FH53000, FH53000CPC, FH53000PC, FH53000PDI, FH53000TV1 and FH53010.
This is the seal at the tank interface, and it is a part almost nobody thinks about until the machine starts misbehaving in ways that look like something else entirely. A seal that has flattened or split lets solution weep down the side of the machine and lets air into the line, so the spray thins out and the tank empties faster than the carpet ever gets wet.
Seat it evenly in its groove when you fit it. A seal pinched at one point will leak from the first tank onward, however new it is.
