Read the build code before ordering this one. The one-step removable nozzle, part 440012809, fits the Hoover SmartWash FH52000, FH52001, FH52002, FH52005CDI and FH52013, but only those machines whose model number ends in A, CDI, PC, PDI, RM, TV1, TV2, TV3 or TV4. The code is on the data plate.
The nozzle is the removable front section that sprays and recovers in a single pass, and it comes with the spray tip fitted. When it cracks, solution escapes at the split and air leaks into the recovery path, so the machine puts down more water than it lifts and leaves streaks trailing behind the head.
Rinse it after every use. Dried detergent and carpet fibre in the passage will choke it long before the plastic gives out.
