This replacement motor cushion mount (Part #34141005) fits the Hoover Conquest commercial upright, covering models C1810, C1810-010, C1810-020, and C1815. The rubber cushion sits between the motor and the vacuum body and absorbs vibration as the motor runs.
As the rubber ages and hardens, it stops damping that vibration, so the motor rattles against the housing and the machine grows noticeably louder. Left alone, the constant shaking can loosen fasteners and stress nearby components. A new cushion quiets the machine and protects those internals from vibration wear.
