This genuine OEM Hoover shaft pulley arm support (part 7069, C1119080) fits the C1119080, C1800, and C1810 Conquest uprights and the related models listed below. The support holds the pulley shaft in alignment so the belt and brush roll run true.
If the arm support cracks or wears, the shaft drifts out of line and the belt can slip, chirp, or throw off the brush roll. A correct replacement re-seats the shaft and returns steady power from the motor to the roller.
