This genuine OEM Hoover agitator shaft fits the U7069 and the Conquest C-series, including C1800, C1800010, C1800020, C1810, and C1815. The shaft carries the brush roll and transfers drive so the agitator spins against the carpet.
A worn or bent agitator shaft causes the brush roll to wobble, bind, or stop turning, which strips deep-cleaning action from the machine. Fitting the correct shaft restores true, steady rotation so the bristles reach into the carpet pile again.
