SEBO Handle Connector Cover for the Duo, Light Gray

Where the handle meets the body of the machine there is a moulded shroud that hides and protects the joint, and part 3027HG is the SEBO replacement for it in light gray. The Duo parts diagram places it at position 19, wrapped around the handle connector at 20, part 3113HG, with the contact cover at 21, part 1020UL, and the 3.9 x 16 screws at 22, part 0103, completing that section of the drawing.

This is the part that takes knocks against door frames and furniture legs, so cracks, deep scuffs and broken clips are ordinary wear rather than a fault. A split cover leaves the connection open to dust and lets the joint rattle as the handle moves, and once a clip has gone the cover works loose a little further with every pass. Fitting a new one closes the joint back up and tidies the most visible junction on the machine, which is why it is one of the more frequently ordered cosmetic parts for the Duo.

SEBO does list the handle complete as 3122/H, which covers positions 1 to 21 in one item, but a cracked shroud rarely justifies that route on its own.
