The Sanitaire SC5713 commercial upright hood is a genuine OEM replacement cover for the front shell of this workhorse upright vacuum. On a machine that gets pushed around offices, hallways, and job sites every day, the hood takes the knocks, and eventually a crack lets dust and debris into the motor housing and wiring underneath.
Replacing the damaged shell with the factory part keeps airflow sealed and the internals protected, and it fits directly with no cutting or modification. This hood replaces Sanitaire part numbers 62412-3 and 62412-1.
