This three-piece attachment holder clips onto the handle or wand of a vacuum and gives crevice tools, brushes, and nozzles a place to sit while you work instead of getting left on the floor or set down and lost.
The clips lose their grip with age and repeated use, so a tool that used to stay put starts sliding loose or falling off entirely during a cleaning session. Because the holder is a wear item rather than something that fails suddenly, a loose or cracked clip is usually obvious well before it stops holding anything at all.
