Part 272373 is the crevice tool built for Eureka 6890-series canister vacuums, a flat, narrow nozzle sized to reach spots a floor head cannot: seat cushions, the base of a wall, the gap beside a car seat, the fins of a radiator, and the track a window slides in.
Coverage extends well past that single canister family. It is the listed crevice tool across a large group of Eureka and Sanitaire canisters: the 3631A, 3673A, 4387AT, 4455AT, 4458A, 4459AS, 4460AT, 4464AT, 4465AT, 4467AV, 4468A, 4469AT, 4470AT, 4471AT, 4684AT, 4684B, 4685AT, 4686ATV, 4687AT, 4688ATV, 4689ATV and 4870AT, plus the SC3683A, SC3683D and SL3681A, and on the Electrolux-Eureka side the EL6988A, EL6988BZ, EL6989A and EL6989AZ.
These tools tend to disappear into a closet more often than they wear out, and the ones that survive daily use usually split along one seam after being stepped on or dropped. A split tool pulls in stray air exactly where suction should be concentrated, undoing the reason for reaching for a crevice tool in the first place. This replacement pushes onto the wand the same way the original one did, no adaptor needed.
