This OEM pedal spring restores handle-release tension on Carpet Pro and Fuller Brush commercial uprights. The spring loads the foot pedal so it snaps back into place after you release the handle, keeping the mechanism crisp and the handle locked securely when upright. It is a small part that the release action depends on.
