The rear wheel and axle carry the back of a Wessel Werk power nozzle and set part of the height at which the brush meets the carpet. Part 10.9011-308 supplies the wheel and its axle together, fitting EBK340 models and also listed for the EBK341 and the Bosch BSG81296.
Wheels here take constant punishment: floor transitions, chair legs, the cord getting run over. A cracked wheel or a bent axle makes the nozzle heavier to push, can score hard floors, and quietly changes the nozzle's attitude on carpet so the brush sits too high or digs in.
A wheel that binds instead of rolling is the version most people never notice; they just assume the vacuum has become hard work. Check that the new axle turns freely in its mounts as you fit it, and clear any hair wound around the hub while you are there.
