SEBO Right Bearing Block for ET-H Power Head

A grinding or rattling note from one end of the roller on an ET-H power head is nearly always the bearing block rather than the roller itself. Part 2751DG is the right-side block: the moulded carrier that captures the brush roller shaft and holds it square inside the nozzle.

Once the bore wears oval the roller sits low on that side. The brush strips then scuff unevenly, which you can read directly off the roller as one end worn shorter than the other, the belt tracks off centre, and the motor works against the drag all the while. Left long enough, a roller running out of line will chew through belts at a rate that is far more annoying than the original fault.

Checking it takes a moment with the machine unplugged and the head turned over: grip the roller at the right-hand end and try to move it up and down in its seat. Any perceptible play is the block, not the roller. A block that has cracked rather than worn is usually visible as soon as the roller is lifted out.

Fitting it is a roller-out repair. Lift the brush roller clear, transfer the block, and clean the shaft end and the seat before the new one goes in, since grit packed into the bore is what wore the old block in the first place. Check the roller ends for hair wound tight against the bearing while you have it out.
