The Titan bottom plate for the T3600 bagged upright is an OEM replacement for the plate that seals the underside of the vacuum's cleaning head. It has a bigger job than its appearance suggests: the bottom plate creates the sealed chamber where the brush roll agitates carpet fibers, and it maintains proper ground contact as the vacuum moves. When the plate cracks or wears, air escapes at floor level and suction drops exactly where you need it most.
A damaged plate can also scuff flooring, so it is worth replacing at the first sign of cracking rather than running it to failure. This OEM part restores the airflow seal and ground contact the T3600 was designed with, and it fits the T3600 along with other similar Titan models.
