SEBO Filter Cover for AIRBELT E3 Premium — Pastel Blue

SEBO offered the AIRBELT E3 Premium in several quiet, low-contrast finishes, and pastel blue is one of them. 8224CIER is the filter cover moulded in that shade. Since the panel lives on the outside of the machine among other mouldings sharing its tone, an approximate match shows from across a room — the colour is part of the specification, not an afterthought.

The mechanical duty matters more still. Shut, the cover bears down on the filter and holds it flat against its landing, which is what obliges the airstream to travel through the media instead of slipping round the rim. Drop the panel once, or force the catch a few times too many, and the load it applies stops being even across the filter face. From that point a proportion of the fine dust the machine lifts is handed straight back to the room, usually noticed as a haze returning to furniture within a day of cleaning.

Picking the right one

Because each finish carries its own number, the colour on the box is the entire decision. The pastel range runs 8224CIER in blue, 8224CMER in mint and 8224CZER in pink, all three listed for the AIRBELT E3 Premium, and the stronger finishes for the same canister cover black, red, graphite and white. Two further numbers in the 8224 series, 8224DBER and 8224WEE1ER, were made for other canisters in the line and are not alternatives here.
