SEBO Dust Bag Housing Cover for FELIX Premium with Non-Adjusting Handle — White

Bag doors are not common to every FELIX Premium, so this part has to be matched to the build rather than to the badge on the machine. Part 7092GW is the white bag housing cover for the Ice Blue configuration SEBO identifies by machine number 9802AM, built with the fixed handle.

Its job is to shut the dust bag compartment tight against the body, which is what obliges the airstream to run through the filter bag instead of finding a way past it. It is also the one panel a user touches at every bag change, so it accumulates the scuffing, the stress whitening around the hinge and eventually the cracks that the rest of the housing never sees. A door that no longer latches firmly is more than a cosmetic complaint. A loosely held compartment leaks at the seal, and a bag that is not drawn flat onto its seat fills unevenly.

Working against this cover are the latch springs, supplied as the set 7024ER and drawn at item 29 of the FELIX sheet. Renewing them alongside the panel is worth doing, since a tired spring is often what loaded the cover past its limit in the first place. Bags come as the 7029AM filter bag box, and the pre-motor filter behind the compartment is 7012AM. Machines built with the adjustable handle use a different door, drawn at item 16, where SEBO lists the white version as 7093WE.
