SEBO Cable Rewind Pedal for C1.1, C2.1 and C3.1 Canisters — Red

Two pedals sit side by side on the body of a C-series canister. The one that lets the reel draw the power cable back in is the cord rewind, and part 6006DR is the red moulding for it.

Pressing the pedal releases the catch on the reel, and the reel takes care of the rest. It receives a full boot, usually at an angle and often in a hurry, so the plastic tends to split across its pivot long before anything electrical gives trouble. From that point the pedal loses travel, the catch is never pushed far enough to let go, and the cable has to be fed back into the machine by hand. Where the pedal still moves through its whole stroke and nothing happens, look instead at the return spring behind it, which is a separate item with its own failure mode.
