The hardware underneath is common to the whole X7 Premium range. A driven brush roll works carpet pile so the airflow can lift out what has settled into it, and the brush-mode button halts that roller the moment you step onto bare boards, tile or a rug with a weave that should be left alone. An integrated headlight covers the shadowed band of floor directly in front of the cleaning head. Collection is by disposable bag, which keeps the interior of the machine clean and reduces emptying to lifting out a sealed bag and clipping a fresh one into the holder.
