This genuine OEM external motor filter (part #1KE2155000) protects the motor and cleans exhaust air on Royal and Hoover backpack systems. It fits the Hoover C2401 and C2401010 Shoulder Vac Pro and the Royal RY4000 and RY4001 backpack cleaning systems.
Mounted over the motor exhaust, the filter traps fine carbon and dust before it reaches the air you breathe. Once it discolors permanently or begins to break down, filtration falls off and the motor draws dirtier air. A fresh filter restores clean exhaust and shields the motor.
