The motor gasket (part #105605) is a genuine OEM seal for the ProTeam Sierra and QuietPro backpack vacuums. It seals the joint around the motor so air is drawn through the intended path instead of leaking past the housing.
A motor gasket compresses and hardens with heat and age, and a failed gasket lets air bypass the motor, which drops suction and can let unfiltered air through. A fresh gasket reseals the motor and returns full suction.
