Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.
Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

A Sierra or Everest backpack owes much of its quiet operation to the sound-damping insulation inside its housing, and part 102510 is the large insulator panel. Cleaning crews working during business hours depend on it more than they realize, since it is the reason these units can run past occupied desks without drawing complaints.
Acoustic insulation does not fail dramatically. It compresses with age and heat, splits along an edge, or works free of its position a little at a time, and the increase in noise happens so gradually that most operators only notice once someone else points it out. The panel is not visible from outside the machine, so the natural moment to inspect it is whenever the housing is already open for other service, when checking it costs almost no extra time.
A fresh panel brings the unit's sound level back down and reseals the motor behind a proper acoustic barrier instead of an open gap that lets noise escape straight through the shell.
