SEBO Pad Adaptor with Quick Release Disc for the DISCO Floor Polisher

Pads mount to the machine through this adaptor. Sold as part 3281ER, it pairs the pad adaptor with its quick release disc, which is what allows a cleaning pad to be swapped for a polishing pad without tools and without hunting for a spanner halfway through a job.

Every pad change and every minute of driving load wears the gripping face down a little further. A tired adaptor lets the pad creep off center, so the machine walks and the finish comes up patchy; the release goes either stiff or sloppy; and pad life drops because the pad is no longer held flat against the floor. Since the adaptor is the single point where the machine's drive reaches the pad, its condition sets how well everything downstream of it works. A fresh one holds the pad square, drives it evenly and lets go the moment you want it to. Keep the face clean between pad changes as well, because compacted polish residue on the gripping surface does the same job as wear and is easier to fix.
