This Ametek Lamb motor is a 5.7-inch, two-stage unit for 120-volt central vacuum power units, rated at 698 peak air watts and drawing 1550 watts. It uses Advantek II diffusion and a 3-inch commercial lamination dual tapered fan system, includes a thermal protection device and a top-end mounting boss, and is UL recognized under PRGY2 (E47185). It runs on 120V AC at either 50 or 60 Hz. The part number is 122264-07.
Central vacuum motors fail slowly. Suction thins out at the inlets over a season, the unit gets louder, and eventually the thermal protector starts cutting it out mid-job. Carbon brushes are usually what wear; the matching brush kit is 8505936-50.
Before ordering, measure the frame diameter and compare the mounting boss and discharge against the motor in your unit, since 5.7-inch Lamb motors come in several configurations. Wiring should be done by a qualified technician.
