This genuine OEM Kenmore floor nozzle bottom plate (Part #KC03REEJZV06) fits models 81214, 81414, 81614, BC4002, and BC4026, and comes with the rear wheels fitted. The plate forms the base of the power nozzle, enclosing the brush roll and carrying the nozzle across the floor.
When the bottom plate cracks or its mounts fail, the brush roll loses support and air leaks around the base, cutting carpet pickup and letting the roll wander. Worn rear wheels compound the problem by making the nozzle drag. This plate reseats the roll and rolls smoothly on fresh wheels.
