Part 561094104 is the dirt cup assembly for the Kenmore DS4090 stick vacuum, the bagless container that holds everything the machine picks up until you empty it.
Dirt cups lead a hard life. They are dropped, twisted off and clicked back on hundreds of times a year, and the parts that suffer are the latch and the sealing lip. A cup that has cracked or no longer seals lets fine dust puff out at the joint and bleeds off the suction that should be reaching the nozzle. A latch that has lost its bite is worse, because the cup can then release its contents at the least convenient moment.
This assembly fits the Kenmore DS4090 and clips onto the machine without tools. If you rinse the cup, let it dry completely before putting it back.
