The Hoover Support Pad for Convertible upright vacuums is a small cushioning part used across the classic Convertible series, including model 1030. Hoover built the Convertible line for decades, and many of those machines are still in daily use, which is exactly why small service parts like this one remain in demand.
Support pads cushion and position components inside the vacuum, absorbing vibration and preventing parts from wearing against one another. When a pad hardens, compresses, or goes missing, the result is usually extra noise and accelerated wear at the contact point.
