This OEM Hoover nozzle base assembly (Part #410127002) fits the Hoover UH71009 and UH71012 upright vacuums. The base forms the lower housing that encloses the brushroll and creates the airflow inlet at floor level.
A cracked or warped nozzle base breaks the seal around the brushroll, so suction leaks and pickup drops along the floor line. Left unaddressed, the loose housing can also strain the belt and motor. A fresh base restores the enclosed airflow path.
