Returns & Exchanges

Need to return an item? We’re happy to help. Eligible items may be returned by requesting authorization within 35 days of delivery. Once approved, your return must reach us within 21 days.

Return eligibility

Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.

Shipping and refunds

For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

This OEM Hoover agitator retainer spring is made for metal-base models, fitting Hoover 1030, U4313, U7033, U7063, and U7079. The spring holds the agitator secured in the nozzle, keeping the brush roll seated against its bearings during cleaning.

When the retainer spring weakens or breaks, the brush roll can shift, rattle, or work loose from its seat, which throws off bristle contact and lets the roll run rough. A fresh spring restores firm tension so the agitator stays seated and turns evenly across the carpet.
