The Royal 1.5 inch Gulper Floor Tool is a genuine OEM floor nozzle for the RY4000 backpack vacuum and Hoover C2401 series backpacks. Often called a gulper, this floor tool is a staple for commercial cleaning crews covering large open floor areas with a backpack vacuum.
Because it is built to original factory specifications, the tool fits the wand properly and maintains the airflow these machines were engineered around. Aftermarket attachments often fit loosely and bleed suction at the connection, which defeats the purpose of a strong backpack unit. For anyone running backpack vacuums daily, keeping a spare floor tool on hand avoids downtime when one finally cracks.
