This genuine OEM Hoover brush roll is the 12-inch Elite CWP roller, a direct fit for the C1404, C1409910, and C1412900 among many Elite-series models. Its bristles agitate carpet so the vacuum can pull embedded dirt from the pile.
As the bristles wear down, the roller loses its ability to stir carpet fibers and cleaning falls off. A fresh, balanced roller restores the deep-cleaning action the vacuum was built to deliver.
