The Hoover Celebrity canister rolls on a pair of wheels, and each one turns on a shaft like this. Part 32543002 replaces that shaft on the Celebrity and on the S-series canisters built around the same chassis.
Canister wheels get dragged over thresholds and hauled around door frames, and the shaft is what takes the shock. Once it cracks or wears down, the canister sits low on one side, squeaks as it rolls, and can shed its wheel altogether - at which point the body starts scraping along the floor behind you.
Our fitment data lists the S2037, S2043, S3057, S3059, S3059030, S3061, S3073030, S3079, S3081, S3083, S3093, S3127, S3131 and S3133. Check the model number on the plate underneath the canister, and look at the opposite wheel while you have it apart, since the pair normally wears at the same rate.
