This replacement dirty water fan housing seal (Part #1710230600) keeps dirty water from leaking out of the fan housing area of your carpet cleaner. It fits a range of Dirt Devil, Hoover, and Royal extraction machines.
As the seal dries out and cracks, dirty water escapes the housing and leaves puddles under the machine after every use. A fresh seal contains the extracted water so it stays in the recovery tank where it belongs. Replacing a hardened seal is the fix for a carpet cleaner that leaks from underneath.

- Function: seals the dirty water fan housing against leaks
