Return eligibility
Items must be unused, in new condition, and include their original packaging and all accessories. Machines that use water cannot be returned once unboxed, unless defective upon arrival.
Shipping and refunds
For non-defective returns, customers cover return shipping. Original shipping charges are nonrefundable. If your order included free shipping, our actual outbound shipping cost will be deducted from your refund. Eligible returns have no restocking fee.

Opening the bag compartment on an ESSENTIAL G4 or G5 starts at this release. Part 51153GS is the gray black cover release, position 37 on SEBO's ESSENTIAL G4/G5 parts drawing, and it does two jobs — freeing the cover on demand and holding it shut the rest of the time.
Releases wear at the engaging face rather than breaking cleanly. A worn one feels slack and can let the cover spring open while the machine is running; a broken one leaves you prying at the door with a fingernail. Either way the seal around the bag suffers, and suction goes with it. The other common failure is the return: press the release and it stays pressed, which means the moulding has cracked where it bears on its spring. None of this is a reason to replace a door that is otherwise sound, since the release is a separate part number and comes out on its own.
