This OEM lower motor mount secures the motor inside the Carpet Pro SCBP1 and SCBP1.2 backpack vacuums. It cradles the base of the motor, holding it in alignment while absorbing the vibration the motor generates during operation.
A cracked or hardened motor mount lets the motor shift and vibrate freely. That produces excess noise, rattling, and accelerated wear on the surrounding housing and connections. Fitting a fresh mount quiets the machine and keeps the motor properly located.
