Pulling the brush roller out of an X7 starts with the release button on the right-hand side, and part 52034DR is that button in the red finish used on the machine. The button is a small moulding under constant spring load, and it either cracks at the pivot or loses its tension after years of service. Once it does, one of two things follows.
