The Pet Lift-Off hose, Bissell part 1625647, is the flexible suction line inside the CleanView 3059 and the related Lift-Off models 2852 and 2998. It carries airflow between the pod and the cleaning path, so anything that opens it up steals suction from the whole machine.
Hoses fail quietly. A split along a crease, a pinhole where the hose flexes near the cuff, or a sock jammed at a bend will leave the vacuum sounding perfectly normal while it picks up almost nothing. If suction dropped off suddenly, or the attachments have gone weak while the floor head still works, pull the hose off and look down it toward a light.
Fitting the replacement takes no tools on most of these models: both cuffs seat and lock by hand. Check that each end is fully home, because a cuff left half-seated leaks as badly as a torn hose.
